How to Embed a Video in Your Project
"Embed" might sound technical, but it is really just a fancy developer word for "put into." Whether you are a fitness professional teaching techniques, a financial literacy coach, or building a meditation app with a "Morning Energy Awakening" section, putting your video assets directly into your project is incredibly simple.
Here is how you can easily embed your videos into your app, software, or landing page.
Step 1: Grab Your Video Link
Before you can embed a video, it needs to live somewhere on the internet.
Locate your video: Find where you have uploaded your video assets. This could be on YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, or any other standard video hosting platform.
Copy the URL: Simply copy the direct link to that specific video. Don't overthink it—just copy the standard link from the address bar or the "Share" button.
Step 2: The Magic Prompt
Once you have your link copied, head back over to your project in Famous. You don't need any complex coding to place the video; you just need to tell the AI exactly where to put it.
Write a straightforward prompt following this structure:
"Embed this video [Paste Your Link Here] as the [Name of Your Section] video tutorial."
For example: "Embed this video https://youtube.com/... as the morning energy awakening video tutorial."
Step 3: Let the System Build It
After you hit enter, give the platform a couple of minutes to work its magic (you can watch it thinking down the left-hand side of the screen).
When it finishes, your video will be perfectly embedded in the exact section you requested. The AI is even smart enough to add little contextual design touches, like a red marker or a play button, to indicate to your users that a video is ready to be watched. (If you don't like the look of the marker, you can always ask the AI to remove it later, but it is a great starting touch!)
If you have multiple videos to add, just repeat this simple copy-paste-prompt process for every single video section on your app.
