How to Put a Project to Sleep (and Save credits!)

If you have a bunch of projects you are not currently working on, this is exactly what you need to do. Please, don't leave a massive list of live projects running at once!

If you haven't put your unused projects to sleep, they are actively consuming credits behind the scenes. To keep your account clean and stop computing zero credits on inactive builds, you need to use Sleep Mode.

Here is how to properly put a project to sleep.

Getting to Your Dashboard

First things first, you need to navigate to your home base to see all of your active builds.

  • Open famous.ai in your web browser.

  • Click on your profile image located in the top right corner of the screen.

  • Select Dashboard from the dropdown menu. This is where all of your projects live.

Enabling Sleep Mode

Once you are looking at your dashboard and can see all the projects you have open, it is time to put the inactive ones to bed.

  • Locate the inactive project: Find the specific project card for the build you are not currently using.

  • Open Settings: Click the Settings button directly under that project.

  • Scroll to the bottom: Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the settings page.

  • Activate Sleep Mode: You will see the Sleep mode option. Just give it one click.

The project is now sleeping. It is computing zero credits, so you do not need to worry about it racking up usage while you aren't working on it.

Important Note: You cannot build, edit, or make iterations while a project is asleep. When you are ready to work on it again, you will simply need to wake it back up!

Please pay attention to this feature and make a habit of sleeping your unused projects—it is super important for managing your account.
