How to isolate images

Learn how to leave space in your images for text content

Using Scroll-Stopping Ads, I've created some great images of cookies for my advertising, like this one:

Notice that the image content takes up the whole image frame. That may be what you want, in which case great! But if you want to add text to the ad, having the image take up the whole space makes this more difficult.

To help with that, we introduced Isolation, which you can find at the top of the Scroll-Stopping Ads and Hero Images apps:

By default, this will be set to None, which will generate images the same as before. Setting it to Black, White or Color will have the AI leave space for text, usually at the top and bottom.

Here are some examples of the various settings:

Black:

Thumbnail 1

White:

Thumbnail 0

Color:

Thumbnail 0

You can then take these images and more easily add text to them, using your image editor of choice:
