Managing Payments and Payouts Natively in Famous.ai
With Famous.ai, you do not need to build a custom payment integration or log into an external Stripe.com dashboard.
Here is how to set up your account and manage your revenue.
Step 1: Triggering the Setup When you ask the AI to build an e-commerce site, it automatically provisions a Database Project to provide backend storage, functionality, and authentication. You can verify this is connected by going to your Project Settings and checking the General tab.
Step 2: Accessing the Payments Dashboard
To access your financial hub, look at the top navigation bar of your project builder and click on the Payments tab (located between Settings and Ecommerce).
Step 3: Completing Your Account Onboarding
Before you can receive payouts, you must complete your business profile.
In the Payments dashboard, click on the Account tab in the left sidebar.
Under Account Management, you will see sections for Business type, Business details, Public details, Management and ownership, and Payout details.
Click the Edit buttons to fill out any missing information marked as "Incomplete" to manage your connected account details.
Step 4: Tracking Your Finances
Once your account is verified, you can run your entire business from the remaining sidebar tabs:
Payments: View your payment history, export data, issue refunds, and manage disputes.
Payouts: Keep track of your payouts to your bank account, view payout history, and check when your next payout is scheduled.
Balances: View your current total balance, see what funds are on hold, and check your available funds.
Tax: Configure your tax settings, add a head office tax address, manage product tax codes, and track tax registrations.
